Host City - Istanbul

Istanbul is located in both Europe and Asia, separated by the Bosphorus strait. It has a tremendously rich history and culture; and was the second most visited city in the world in 2024.

It is advised to allow at least a few days to see the main attractions. A megacity that has seen the rise and fall of two empires, the former Constantinople is a confluence of Byzantine and Ottoman architecture that flank the domed skyline of its famous Old City, or Sultanahmet, as it's known by locals (Best Things to Do in Istanbul - U.S. News Travel).

Here is another list of things to do in Istanbul - 26 Best THINGS to Do in Istanbul.

Weather

July is a warm month in Istanbul. Average daytime temperature is 78°F / 25°C and nighttime average is 70°F / 21°C (source). On average, precipitation is observed on 3 days. Layered outfit would be preferable.

This year as well, join us, present your work and ideas to a diverse audience of industry leaders, receive feedback and suggestions, and help generate new ideas.

Talks can be on any relevant topic, including but not limited to network planning, fleet planning, robust scheduling, schedule reliability, gate assignment, block time design, demand forecasting, market share forecasting, maintenance routing, schedule adjustments to reduce crew demand and costs, and more.
