Call for Papers We would like to invite you to attend the 2006 AGIFORS Scheduling & Strategic Planning Conference. This year’s meeting will be held at Cranfield University. Cranfield is located about 40 miles north of London. We are very pleased that Cranfield is hosting this conference. Fariba Alamdari, Head of Department of Air Transport, Cranfield University, will deliver the keynote address. Professor Alamdari is Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Science and Manufacturing. She has been awarded Honorary Professorship of the Civil Aviation University of China. In addition to Professor Alamdari, we hope to have contributions from other faculty and researchers at Cranfield as well as from other universities. The Conference welcomes all qualified papers on scheduling and strategic planning concepts and methodology. Topics include but are not limited to:

In addition to the formal presentations there should be time for round-table discussions on topics chosen by the group. There will also be plenty of time for informal discussions while we are on campus. There will be an award for best presentation/paper. The author will be invited to the annual AGIFORS symposium (to be held in Rome, September 2006); the symposium fee will be waived.
