OR Managers' Study Group
Area of Interest
AGIFORS (the Airline Group of the International Federation of Operational Research Societies) has a number of official working groups. One of these is the OR Managers working group, a group which is growing in size and which in recent years has focused on such issues as:
  • recruitment and career development of OR analysts
  • career development of OR analysts
  • managing mixed (IT/OR/BPR) teams
  • managing academic liaisons
  • business process reengineering
  • rapid applications development
  • R&D portfolio management
