Due to logistical issues with the selected hotel, the 2008 AGIFORS' annual Crew Management Study Group Conference will take place at the Novotel Paris Tour Eiffel hotel. THE DATES FOR THE CONFERENCE HAVE CHANGED. The new dates are AUGUST 19th to the 22nd.
Major topics to be discussed and reviewed relate to Preferential Bidding Systems, Crew Planning, Pairing Optimization, Crew Rostering, Crew Systems Access, Crew Scheduling, Training Scheduling, Crew Tracking, Crew Recovery and the impact of industry changes on crew management. Come and share with us your ideas, thoughts, current trends, philosophies, and latest technological advances on any of the above or related topics. We look forward to seeing you on August 19th in Paris!
If you are interested in presenting a paper at the study group meeting, the deadline for submission of abstracts has been extended to July 1, 2008. Please send the title and abstract to our Technical Chairperson for the AGIFORS Crew Management Study Group conference, Mirela Stojkovic, mirela.stojkovic@nwa.com. If you have already submitted an abstract for this year’s conference it will continue to be considered for the August meeting unless you notify us otherwise.
Watch for a second announcement with information regarding vendor opportunities, fee schedule and the opening of the registration website by May 31.
